The Estuary I

The Estuary I, provides the first new construction of affordable rental homes fully dedicated to formerly homeless households built within the city of Alameda. The development includes multi-purpose community rooms with spaces for classes, onsite resident services, case management, therapy-type services, computer access, and social events.

Onsite social services are provided free of charge to all residents including case management, supportive services, connections/references to healthcare or other resources, and life and job skills training. Additional building amenities include secure bike storage, on-site laundry room, and an elevator.

Beautiful water-conscious drought tolerant landscapes serve as outdoor community space areas for relaxation, exercise, outdoor seating and gathering. A pet play and relief area can be used by residents of the property. These new affordable homes were built with a focus on creating open space and a connective neighborly environment that will integrate seamlessly with the surrounding community.
